"Summer Tires"

Hi,
I have a 2005 F-150 King ranch that I want to put "summer/highway tires on in a hope to increase gas milage. I already have a hard cover, Air Raid filter system and duel exhaust, but still only average 15 in the summer and 12 in the winter. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks Sandman

I didn't quite understand what you wanted help with.. If it was the good summer tires I've always nothing but amazing things out of the michelin LTX tires. As far as gas milage.. Any mod that would help gas milage would take quite a while for it to pay for itself.

I was using the Michellin Cross Terrain in 255/70/16. Great rain and quiet on the highway.
Here in Southern, FL. a good rain tire on the highway is a must.
Now I have 20" wheels and going with Sumitomo's Sport H/P's 275/55/20.
Hope they work for me.
Good luck

Im kind of confused.

Your going to be spending like AT LEAST $500+ on tires, the mpg increase you would get would be pretty small, and would take massive amounts of miles to get back into the black.

Not sure I understand the logic
