funny sound in rear

funny sound in rear

Have a "99" f150 xlt and when i am at a stop position and release the brakes i hear whats like a thump or maybe a sticking noise. Not sure. Check out and everything seems ok. Any suggestions?

are you sure its the brakes?
perhaps its the transmission or drive shaft or rear axle?

i was told that i might have warpped rotors or the rear disc brakes are sticking some. never thought of trany, rear axle or drive shaft.
