Tire Fitment

Could I fit some 30x11.5x16 TSL Thornbirds on 16x8 Mickey Thompson Classic IIs under a '98 stock height 2wd F150 XLT? Or could I even go wider? That's what I'd like to do. I think I should be able to fit the 30x11.5s, maybe a little rubbing though? Don't wanna spend the money to lift it, but I'd just like some tires for extra grip when I have to do light offroading like getting across a field to deer stands or goose blinds. I do that almost everyday in the fall, so I need it. I'd put a 2-3" body lift on it if I have to, but if I'd do that I'd wanna put on some 33's. Thanks for the help.

You can fit a 265/75-16 (32x10.50) with 16x8's.
I'd really consider going with another tire. The Thornbirds are one of the worst tires ever made. Anything would be a better choice. The Turdbirds don't work well offroad and are even worse on pavement. Most would even consider them dangerous on wet pavement.

Thanks buddy, but will these fit on my truck without the body lift or do I need it. I might do one anyways, no matter what.

Yes, they should fit unless the backspacing on those wheels is really weird.
