? for Wandell

Seems that you are the best person to ask about wheel/tire fitment. If you don't mind I have a question.
I have a stock 2006 4x4 F150 supercab. I have on order a set of Pro Comp 6079 wheels...size 17x9 6x135 4.75 back space. Would you know what tire sizes would fit with a AS2.5 leveling kit and also if I kept it stock height without having rubbing problems. Also would it stick out of my fenders?

thanks for your help
Paul

Those wheels will stick out 2 1/4 inches farther than the oem wheels. If you add a leveling kit you could run a 305/65-17 (33x12.50) or a 285/70-17 (33x11.50) tire. Without a leveling kit, you can probably still fit those with some minor trimming.

Thanks, I cancelled the wheel order. I don't like when the wheels stick so far out of the fenders. If I kept my truck at stock level with no leveling kit and my stock 17inch chrome clad wheels can I still fit the 285/70-17 tires or i would need the 2.5 leveling kit?

thanks again for your help
Paul

Yes, you can fit 33's without a leveling kit and the oem wheels.
Also just to be clear, I was saying the wheels you chose will stick out 2 1/4 inches farther than the oem wheels, not 2 1/4 inches past the fenders.
