What size tires

I have an entirely stock 98 lariat.What is the largest tire I can fit on it without problems?

Toyo tires

I have an 07 xlt and i just put some 295/70/17 toyo open country M/T's on it with no problems. and a guy i know put 34's on his 06 lariat(stock)

4x2 - 265/75/16 or 265/70/17
4x4 - 285/75/16 or 285/70/17, your best bet, no issues whatsoever and will fill up the wheel wells nicely. You could probly get a 295/75 or 295/70 with very little to no problems.
