Goodyear Wrangler -Silent Armor
Any opionions on the Wranglers? I have a 2006 Screw and have decided on Moto Metal 950's Black. The size I have chosen is 285/70 R17.
Anyone have good or bad experiences with these wheels and/or tires?

I have the wrangler silent armors on my 04 on stock FX4 17" wheels. I got the same size as the one you are looking to buy. So far I have about 5,000 miles on the tires with along with the Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks, and the 5100 rears as well. I have had to issues with the tires or the shocks. The ride is a bit stiffer, but a huge improvement over the Generals. I'm very happy with my setup. I was also looking into the motto metal wheels, but wasn't sure what backspacing I would need in order to have the tires only stick out about 1/2" - 1".

I have had mine for a while, and they are pretty nice. They are extremely quiet and will work for slight offroading (fields, some snow). I am getting rid of mine and switching to a more aggressive tread.
I've got the same size 285/70 R17. on my 04 Dodge Hemi 4x4 work truck. Coming up on a year now with no regrets, much better ride and quieter than the old GY ATS tires. They seem to flat spot a little in cold if they sit for very long but warm up quick and ride and handle nice both on and off road.

i've had mine for a 15 months and i don't regret buying them. I've got the D rated 285/70/17 and they seem to be wearing real nice. i keep the tire pressure at around 42-43 psi and the tread still looks like new. i'm sure i will be able to get at least 80000km (50000miles)on these if not more. two things thou, these babies are heavy and you will have to rotate them more often. they handle great and traction doesn't seem to be a problem in rain or snow. I would highly recommend them.
