Thanks I have always liked black and red together. I knew if I bought a red truck I would be able to get lots of black mods to go with it. These new monsters add the finishing touch. I think it looks great and the wheels match the fender flares perfectly. I am vary happy with the look I have achieved.

is that niteshades or tint film on your fog lights? how well is it holding up with the heat from the lights? i was thinking of doing that but was told the lights run hot and will burn off the niteshades.

It is a tint film. allthough I am not all that happy with the color. it has a more brown color rather than a black or gray color.

They are custom emblem overlays. They were made by guy like 4 years ago who I think is no longer in business. although I think there are places out there that make custom emblem overlays. I am not sure if you will find a true custom shop that lets you pic the colors of the letters and backgrounds like this guy did. I might be wrong about that though. have not looked in a while. Just google custom emblem overlay. and you might search for domed my emblems overlay were domed. I am not sure what the difference was with domed.

thanks for a good pic of what red truck w/black rims look like. I've got a 98 and purchased the FX4 rims with the intent of having them powedercoated black, and putting them on when i get bigger tires. I've been wondering what it might look like, i love it!

Alot of people have been asking me this question lately. Actually I think you will find no one makes those fender flares for the flareside. I actually wanted flares for a while and had been looking at how the curve of my wheel well was about the same as the standard beds. so I took a gamble and bought a set of flares for a standard bed hoping they would fit ok. when I got them I was suprised at how well they fit. I actually could have bolted them up with out trimming other than I did have to trim the hole for the gas cover to open through. but I trimmed the lower section slightly from the step down to help it fit better the shape of the step side. then I bolted them on and they almost look like they were ment to fit the flareside. There are only a couple of small gaps at the bottom of each fender right above the steps. I have a few pics of fitment in my gallery. one thing though becouse it is a flareside the flares di not stick out as far as they would on a standard bed. I think maybe one inch or less further in. That is one of my more creative mods. I have always loved the thought I was probably the only person any where with fender flares on a flareside. Lately I have told several people about it so my secret is out. that is ok. I was always happy when people shared there unique mods with me. Now it is my time to share a custom mod idea. I am waiting to see if any one else tries this.
