I just hope they do not kill the gas milage. oh and I just got the edge this week and installed it. I really like it. I like the fact it lets you customize the programs if you want. you can even adjust the color of the display. and it mounts in a nice mounting pod that looks like it is part of the truck. fits nicely with the interior. it has timers in it that let you time 0-60 runs and 1/4 mile tests and see if your custom settings are hurting your performance or helping. when I first installed level 1 I was getting 0-60 times arround 10.2 seconds. then I learned what all the custom adjustments could be done and kept tweeking them till I got my 0-60 down to 8.6 seconds. that is with 87 octane. I wont try 93 octane till I run this program for a while and see what it feels like and what my gas milage is. then I will try the 93 octane to see what the performance and gas milage differances are. so far I have had no problems with it. been a lot of fun.

are u getting the same size tires i was asking for? i htink i might get my tires at costco i think they might be alot cheaper. my mom has a card i might jsut bring her with me

The Copper STT is a very nice tire but as for wear the BFG A/T will get twice the wear as the Cooper STT your trying to compare a A/T to a M/T not a fair comparison.

By the way Costco will not mount oversized tires on your truck only OEM sizes.

yes I have the bfg's. I am not sure what costco charges. I never thought of trying them. but the best price I found $269 each. I actually think I had a quote for $245 from one place I found on the net but I couldn't find the site again so I just bought them for 269. if you want to search I think the site had hubcap in its name. I can not wait to get those 305's mounted up. I put them out next to my 285's and they seem so much bigger. they should look sweet on our trucks.

Could you run those 305's for about 5,000 more miles so that I can afford them? Thanks!

Yah it sucks those are such expensive tires. I never understood why they charged so much for the 18" and even more for the 20" and if you go to 22"s you might as well cut off an arm and a leg. it takes less rubber to make those tires. so why so much. I imagine bfg is loosing quite a lot of business to companies like nitto that sell there tires cheaper. I think if they dropped their prices to be more competative they would sell alot more.

hey my fauly... i said the rims were 4.81 backspacing but they are really 4.53 inches of backspacing.. i know they are going to stick out more. Do u think that will cause greater rubing? and i went to costco and they were actually more than the shop.

yes more rubbing. still may be able to trim enough to make it work. hard to say. the 3 inch versis 2.5 inch lift may offset the difference. it is hard to say. either way it looks like you would have to trim some.
