wheel fitment issue

hey guys. I picked up a set of ultra thunder wheels...so hot! for an unbelievable price.(bought used, private sale) BUT, I have to return them because they don't fit my truck very well. The wheels stick out about 3 or 4 inches past the fenders. the sizing is 17x9, -12 offset, and 4.5" backspace.
I really want a set of these wheels, and they're available in 17x8 as well, with an offset of 25, and 5.5" backspace.

will the 8" wheels fit similar to stock? I figured that the 8" wheel wouldn't have the deep dish that the 9" has. I really like the deep look, but I guess there's just no way to get it, and keep the tires inside the fenders.

I've emailed modbargains about my problem, but he hasn't gotten back to me yet, so I was hoping someone could fill me in of whether or not the 8" wheel would fit any better.

what an awesome wheel... I was so pissed when they didn't fit. I could be rolling around on these right now.

also, forgot to ask, what are the stock 17" fx4 wheel specs? it would be easier to understand what sizes I need if I knew what I'm working with.

Stock wheels are 17x7.5" and 5.5" backspacing. The 17x8 with 5.5" backspacing would be a better fit.

I agree.
Also, those wheels are a copy of the Moto Metal 951. I'm not sure about the 17's, but MM offers the 18's with a couple of different backspacings.

thanks guys.
I found a local shop that had comparable prices to online dealers.
They don't deal with ultra wheels, so I bought a set of atx clash wheels and fuzion xti 265/70/17's. If they don't fit, I can very easily return them, but it sounds like they're gonna work out. They'll be here in 2 weeks, and I can hardly wait.

17x8.5, 5 3/8"" backspace, +15 offset
