Angry Frustrated

Today at the grocery store i noticed that my stock gooyears have a bad cut on the sidewall. Tire still holds air, but is no longer safe to drive on. I was already looking to replace the tires because the performance on the winter roads wasnt that great. I wanted to keep the same tire size ,LT rating and white letters. Well the choices arent that great. the bfg rugged trails have poor reviews, bfg at bigger than stock and hard to find a good set that can be balanced. The ats goodyears are crap, and the silent armours are having the same problem as the bfg at. I wanted dueler at that were on my previous f150, but they dont come in that size. The revos arent availible in a LT tire and reviews on the net say that the tread depth is short and the tires arent lasting as they should be. I never liked coopers and toyos or nittos dont have white letters.

I am losing my mind on what tires to get! Anyway thanks for letting me vent. When i figure out what tires get put on, i will post some pictures.

Im still crunching specs and prices. Im still leaning towards revos, have to see what my hookup says tomorrow.

Check out reviews from tire rack. Maybe that'll help you decide.

After reading some reviews on www.tirerack.com, I found that the Firestone Destination tires had received decent reviews. If you are looking for a good on-road tire, check out the Firestone Destination LE tires. I just bought some for my rig and the tires perform very well in snow and rain. Just my 2 cents.

bad reviews on the BFG's? thats a first. The All Terrains i have on my truck now are great, and they replaced the rugged trails that got about 70-80,000 miles out of them.

WOW sundevel you got 70+ miles out of your rugged trails? I was about to get new ones after 20k! no way would I buy the rugged trails. I am sorry I cant help you on the tire help except to concur with your decision not to get the rugged trails.
