Newb questions

Hey guys, I posted this in the OEM section, but I think I'll get a better response here.....so here's my story....

I'm a newb coming from the complete opposite end of the spectrum (just sold my 2004 Cobra). If everything works out I should be picking up a black 08 Supercrew XLT this Friday. Here are the wheels I'm looking at throwing on:

http://www.tirepackage.com/partLists...59&ptID=100073

http://www.tirepackage.com/partLists...49&ptID=100073

And I'll match it with some 285/70/17 BFGs or 295 Nittos. What backspacing do I need if I'm going with a 17 x 9 wheel?

Should I go with a 2.5" or a 2" leveling kit? My only concern is the TPMS. There are plenty of sites out there that will mount and balance my wheel/tire combo for a good price, but what do I do about the TPMS? Is there a way to use a programmer to turn the light off? Will I have to get my speedo re-calibrated with this tire size?

I might also look at 18s, but I just don't want to do 20s....my main concerns are the questions I asked....picking out wheels and tires will be easy...

I'd use a 9 inch wide wheel with 5 to 6 inches of backspacing. The 2 or 2.5 inch levleing kit will work fine. You do not have to have the speedo recalibrated, but it would be a good idea. As for the TPMS, you will either have to have the sensors moved to your new wheels or put up with the warning light.
