I just installed a 2" tuff country leveling kit on my 2008 screw 4x4...
i want to put 295/70/17 nitto terra graplers on.

Question is i want to go with moto metal rims... should i go with 17x8 or 17x9?
will 17x9 also shorten the hight of the tire compared to 17x8?

go with the 17x9
i dont believe it'll make it shorter but someone correct me if im wrong...

 

yeah I think those 17x9's should fit.....that'll stick out 2'' further than stock and then figure in whatever the backspacing is (5.5'' is stock)...should look real good....

 

I just mounted 295/70-17 on 8" wide wheels because I want them to stay inside the fenders. That inch can make a difference. Just something else to think about...
