I'm surprised at this comment though..

Regardless of what tire pressure I run, what load I present, I cannot get mine to measure 34.5" ... let alone an "even 35"

In fact, I programed in 34.25" into my Flashpaq upon install, as it's a hair above that measurement.

On Toyo's webpage [HERE] your size, at OAD Inflated, is claimed to be 35.1" whereas mine are claimed at an even 35".

How on earth did you measure them an "even 35" ???
The 35 x 12.50 18 is not as tall as the 285 75 18. So if you are running that size that might be your problem?? I dont know. I see you have after market rims that are probably different width, that might be a problem too?? I measured them before they were even on rims and they were 35" exactly. All 4. Toyo website says 35.1" so seems pretty close to me. I just measured them on the rims and they are still the same height.

There is no bulging at all, they are flat across and fit good. They look no different on the rims then they did off them. I dont know what to tell ya! Doesnt really matter to me what they measure anyway, my eyes can't see the difference! I just put my measurement so others would know how they stacked up in real size.

Well we had a snow/ice storm this week and they did awsome in both, in 4x2/and 4x4. I talked to some members from another ford site that use them in canada about winters. They all said they were good, in fact alot of people use them on f250's to plow. One or two people said they had them siped more before they put them on for better ice traction. The stock tires that came off the truck were absolutely dangerous in any kind of snow/ice at all. I couldn't go, couldn't stop, couldn't turn. These seem to handle it good so far but I only have one storm under them. My parking lot at my job was like a sheet of ice and 1/8" snow yesturday morning. I stopped completely, left it in 4x2, and floored it. They spun as you would expect with any tire but quickly grabbed and moved on. The stock goodyear at/s tires immediately turned the truck sideways and went know where. I drove over/through a 3 foot snowbank at work yesturday in 4x2 and didnt even notice I was driving through anything. I have been impressed so far. I will update it as we get more storms to let people know how they are in winter weather.

Maxout05, new skins look great. I've also been looking and reviewing posts for a larger diameter tire that would not rub even under full lock. Been driving myself nuts looking at all the bigger tire options for stock rims and front leveling. Toyos are the only I've been able to find in this size 285/75/18-Toyo also makes an AT in the same size that most likely will function better in wet and snow conditions but not have as much "wow factor" aesthetically. Let us know how they hold in the snow and ice after a few more miles. I'm assuming you also have the front leveled? Thanks for being the guinea pig!

Great setup. I just crossed the 1000 mile mark on my 35's and they are great!

Tires

Those tires look great. That is the size I am getting next. I've got about 5K on my Toyo 275-75-18's. I went smaller because I didn't have the leveling kit on when I bought the tires and rims. I wish I would have now. I need bigger tires!
