I can see it now. We are all standing around the OP's truck watching NCSU, GerRod and Anaheim have a three way fist fight and Pignjig randomly comments "Wow! I can honestly say that is the biggest rims I have ever seen on a truck." No offense Pignjig, just seemed kinda random after all this fighting.

When looking at wheels as large as those 40's the real question to me is "why?". I mean you know good n well that the second car probably cost a quarter of what the suspension, wheels and tires cost. Seems to me that if you have the kinda money if the first place you would get a decent car, ie: BMW, Lexus or Benz.

See, to me, the 26" are venturing into the same kind of look that the 40" create, just a little less cartoony.

I'll never understand why people spend so much money for the kinda thing, I guess it's true, more often than not, that people have more money than sense.

You know, I would like to see some 40's on an F-650 or international CXT or something of that nature. Thats the only kind of vehicle I can see being somewhat proportional to the wheel/tire combo.

True. But Im sure you could have a custom set made where the spokes are the size of a 4x4(wood) and made out of aluminum. Heck why stop there, titanium baby!.....now I am taking this too far.
