Not Engaging?

So i just had some of my front end replaced because it was worn out due to a wheel bearing breaking on my truck. So after this i noticed when my steering wheel was at a certain position (turned some to the left) my brakes won't engage until about 3 seconds later. Why is this doing it? I took it back to the shop and the guy did about 10 minutes of test driving of different turns and stops and couln'dt notice a single thing. I notice it about once a day. Is this a problem anyone has ever had? What is doing this? How can i fix it"

Thx!!!

Check your brake hoses to see if one is getting pinched in the left hand turn or over extended. Common cause of caliper failure is a collapsing brake hose. Was looking at your pics and saw the one of your shock and swaybar, looks tight.

So do you suggest i maybe get new brake lines, or have someone check them out? Do my brake lines need to be in those little "u" shaped things where they plug into or should they be loose?

I would first suggest doing your own visual inspection by first turning hard left and looking at the lines to see if they are in any kind of a bind on either side.

Hey torkum,

Is it okay if the brake line is twisted a little or should it be hanging completely??
