not sure where the problem is

last winter i avoided a sliding car by hitting the the throttle to get out of the way way but i was heading toward a boulder ( about up to my rim in height ) i hit the brakes and slid into it at about 8 mph... it dented my rim but also ****ed my steering wheel about 40 degrees counterclockwise... nothing is bent underneath that i can see.. nothing looks broken... where did it **** my steering wheel.. there is a slight rubbing sound but i cant find it.. i put it on a lift and spun in 4wd but cant find anything.. any guesses would be great.. thanks
