Toyo MT question

The look of the toyo mt are mean, but i put alot of highway miles on my truck in a year. Are these tires noticable loud and is the life of the tire reasonable? My choice is between this and the procomp extreme a/t.

They are very quiet on the highway - only a slight hum (which I think sounds great). Toyos are probably the best rated M/T as far as tread life and road noise is concerned. I absolutely love mine.

How many mpg do you get out of your truck? Your pics look awesome. Did you have to add the 2.5 leveling kit with that lift?

Thanks

I get around 16-17 mpgs on the highway and no leveling kit - just the 4" susp. lift.

I have the 2.5in leveling kit and 35's. I love the Toyos. They do have a slight hum on the highway, but nothing that is too bothersome at all. And the ride is as smooth as stock (even my fiancee` said so). As for road wear, I've only had mine for 500miles so they obviously show no wear yet. I hear they get around 40-50k out of them if rotated regularly. I think there may be something up with my truck, cause I'm getting 11.5mpg in city (haven't calculate highway miles yet).

Nah, that's about what I'm getting in the city. These big tires are hard for the stock gearing to get rolling.

All things considered, they are remarkably quite and ride just as well.

A search would [have] yeild the answers to your questions.

grubrunner, i really dig your setup and was basing my purchase on how yours looks. What wheels and size do you have and did you change your air intake?
