also, what is the biggest i can go under a non lifted 99 flareside reg cab 4.6
(seems odd but my truck sits ALOT higher than most other 99's like mine i have seen, but still no lift that i can spot)

I would think that you could fit a 285/75-16 for sure. You'll probably be able to fit a 305/75-16 with a little rub maybe. That is if you are using the stock wheels. And what stocker your using.

Oh, and I like the tread pattern on those tires. I would check with some online sources before I dropped $700.00 bones though.

Around here, Mastercraft tires are everywhere. I have a set on my wife's van and they have been really good tires. I have several buds that run these on their commercial trucks and vans and really like them. This is why I put them on the van. I'm not sure about the treadwear on the mud tire, but the a/t and street treads seem to last pretty long. Good luck.

at 54 lbs a tire by the time i ship them at 150$ a tire im saving alot of cash getting em local.

i ran them on my explorer 31x9.5 stock height for almost 3 years and still had about 1.2" of tread left.

They are made by Cooper Tire. I've never read a review on them. As for size, I'd go with a 33 inch tire. If you are gonna keep the OEM wheels, I'd go with a 285/75-16 (33x11.50).
