Will this wheel fit?

Ok guys I know absolutely nothing when it comes to wheels and tires so I need the advice of the wise people here. I found a wheel that I like and I am wondering if they will fit my truck (06 F150 FX4) They are pro comp series 9009's I was thinking about getting the 22's and putting 305/45/22 tires on. Thanks guys.

Heres a picture of them: CLICK ON IMAGE for more info.

That wheel does look sweet and I think would look awesome on your truck with the silver. Only thing...if my calcs are correct that wheel being 22x9.5 and 35mm backspace, that should figure out to be 6.13" of backspace. That might be a little too deep but hopefully wandell(guru of da wheel and tire info) or one of the other guys should pop in and set us straight.

that backspacing should not be too much. only 5/8 inch deeper in than stock. be prepared though for your rims to stick out about 1.375" further than the stock rim.

Personally, I'd want a little more backspacing. My 22x9.5's have 6.7 inches of bs and my tire/wheel is just about even with the edge of the fender flares on my Expy. If they stick out too far you can add wider fender flares.

Wandell I see that you are pretty knowledgeable here when it comes to wheels and tires. Is there a wheel that is black chrome or knight chrome as pro comp calls it that would have more back spacing? I would look but have no clue what numbers to look for or what they mean!

Last question I promise fellas. I found on Pro comps website and the specs on the wheels are

Size: 22X9.5
Bolt circle: 6X135mm
Offset: 35mm
Backspacing: 6.63"

Would that make them stick out further or would that make them sit closer to stock? Thanks again for all the help, I really appreciate it!

The more backspacing, the more the wheel tucks in.

boss motorsports makes two rims with black chrome 22X9.5 for our trucks in black chrome. the boss 311 and the boss 313. the 311 has a a backspacing of 6.59 and the 313 has one of 6.785. it is rare to find backspacing greater than so any rim that has a backspacing greater than 6.5 would be a decent choice. I have been looking at black chrome for a while it is awsome. there is not alot out there. and I am pretty sure there is more out there for 22" inch rims than the 18"'s I have been looking for. I just passed up all the 22's I seen. I know there out there you just have to search. good luck

oh heres a link to the boss 313 wheel.

Is 6.63" of backspacing an acceptable amount?

Thanks again.

6.63 should be ok as the tire would be out to the edge of your fender depending how wide a tire you run it should not stick out much it any.
