What the bigest I can go

I have a F150 FX4 Flare side 2004. I like to know what the biggest tire I can go on the factory rim which are 17 in. Or if I change my rims that the biggest I can go with out a lift kit. I don't want to lift my truck at this time. And any tire suggestion make on what I can put on.

well I do not know if it is the biggest you can go but I do know you can fit 285/70/17's without issues that is a 33X11.25" tire. I believe you could go bigger as I had some room to spare when I first put these on. I think you could probably get 34's on with no probs. I know some have had the 315/70/17's on with minor rubbing but I think that was with a front end leveling kit. the biggest I would consider with no lift would be the 305/6517s. those are sizes for bfg at ko's.

Stock you can fit up to a 295x70x17 or if you level the front up to a 315x70x17 which is close to 35 inches. These tires will fit on the factory 7 1/2" wide wheels.

You can fit up to a 305/65-17 (33x12.50).
