Interco SS-M16
Interco SS-M16
The new Interco SS-M16 is a tire for all seasons. Several design features have been taken from our best performing all terrain and mud terrain tires. The SS-M16 is highway friendly and very quiet for a tire that has such good off road performance. It is an excellent tire that bridges the gap between the all-terrain and very aggressive off road tires and has a rugged design that will enhance the appearance of any vehicle.
Looks like a radial Bogger almost. Pretty neat looking. Kind of heavy according to the specs. Here are a couple more pictures.

the less rubber to rim a tire has (24" wheels on 37" tires) the less they will want to allow the rubber to flex and conform to give the tire some bite during offroading! just thought id point that out!

A 37 on a 22 is pushing it let alone a 37 on a 24. I've seen 37s on 20s and that looks good.
Also, I just looked at National Tire & Wheel and they have two more sizes available now. 295/70-17 and 285/65-18.

Whats the tread depth?
Have you offoaded with them do they clean?
Im stuck between, M16, Boggers, Millitary tires for the next set.
My old tires were nitto mud grapplers, and I like them alot more than those. Im not exactly sure about the depth of the tread, but they are big lugs of rubber. I havent been through thick florida mud with them, but they seemed to keep pretty clean from what i went through. They kept grabbing, and they are a pretty soft tire (compared to my grapplers). They are definately alot quieter on the road, and the milage is about the same. I havent run on them for more than 1,000 miles even, so its too early to tell about tread wearing. But I have gotten many compliments on them. The only negative I have is that Discount Tire said that they were almost impossible to balance. I am going to take them to 4wheelparts to see if they can do a better job, because at freeway speed I feel a little offbalanceness. Not enough to do anything, it just doesnt feel quite the same to me. In conclusion, great tire. And I am not a Super Swamper lover, not only for pure mud and rocks.
