Sold my car, got some extra cash..

Well ive sold my baby. She was a 96 thunderbird with about 14k invested. Now all I have is my 00 f150.. I wanna throw down about 1000 into maybe some tires and rims.. I was also thinking of doing a 3in bodylift. Any one got a good combo?

is it a 4x4? If so, do a 3'' body lift, some 10'' wide rims and some 35x12.50 tires. Probly will run you a bit higher than $1000 though.

Theres probably no way you can get wheels AND tires for $1000, but its a good place to start modding.. Makes a world of difference on your trucks appearance.

I agree. 33x12.50's will also look fine with a body lift. I'd go with a 16 or 18 inch wheel personally.

You guys are pretty nice... Id be bashed for not searching by now anywhere else.

Soo 33's or 35's would be a better choice?? would be a lil bit cheaper I guess eh? Also we can't have anything sticking out the fender well too much.. So would something a little bit 'narrower' be ok?

thanks again

Your tires will be even with your fenders. I personally like 35's. It also depends on your motor and stock gearing.

Check out my gallary. Just click the little camera icon. I have pics of my Screw with a 3 inch body lift on 33's and 35's. Both will sit just about even with the edge of the fender flars on a 10 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing. What engine and gear ratio do you have? Do you plan on regearing? Do you tow/haul heavy loads? I have a 5.4 with 3.55 gear and 35's. The performance is ok, but nothing to brag about. I never tow or haul anything heavy. If I did, I would have stuck with 35's.
