American Racing Black Clash

I have been back and forth with which wheels I am going to get. I came across these and really like the look a lot, just not sure if they will fit correctly. I have a 2005 black Fx4.

They are American Racing Black Clash, 20x9 and come in both 0mm and -12mm offsets.

I did search and didnt find anyone that had these wheels. I found this chart and can see the backspaces. Is either offset better than the other?

I am wanting to run around a 275/55/20 or 275/60/20 tire, nothing crazy. I will be choosing the exact tires later, but these will be the sizes.

I am not lifted or leveled. Will the wheels and that size tire work fine, no rubbing, etc?

Also, does anyone have a picture in which I can see how far the wheels will stick out past the fender?

Thanks in advance.

^Thats what I was thinking as well. How far will they stick out past the fender? About an inch or 2?

Much similar to mine if you take a look at my wheel thread.

Thanks a lot Jesse, I appreciate the help. If I were to run a 275/60/20 (32.99" overall od) with these wheels and no leveling kit or lift, I shouldn't have any rubbing issues, right?

Thanks for the reply.

I was hoping this setup would work. I really like the way these wheels look and dont really want to do a leveling kit right now if I dont have to.

Thanks again, hope to be purchasing these wheels soon!

Well it turns out that I most likely wont get these wheels now I did some more research and found that the 0mm offset is a little more than I would like. I dont have a leveling kit, so I think the wheel will look a little goofy sticking out about 2.5" I love the look on a leveled truck (like pimprohr's) I just dont want to do a leveling kit right now, so it looks like the wheel search continues.

The perfect look I am going for is a 20x9 with a +30mm offset, so the wheel and tire only stick out about an inch or so past the fender. Anyone know of any black wheels that would fit the look I am looking for?

You might also want to consider 8" or 8.5" wheels. That's going to give you tons more options than narrowing your search to 9" wheels with 6" offset.

An 8" wheel with zero offset sticks out 1" more than stock (4.5" bs).
