So.. you wouldn't recommend TOYO M/T either? I appreciate the reply, but yours is the first post I've read that bashed the STTs. If I'm only going to get two years out of them (or the toyos) then that's definitely something to think about.

Anyone else been running the STTs for a while, that can chime on the the tread wear?

ok get ur stuff straight brad.
i know they'll last along time if there the same as toyo because ppl are gettin like 40k outta the toyo's...
just rotate em normally and take care of em, because for gods sake i know someone with 30k on a set of mud grapplers and they still got like 25% tread left...

can you give us some more info.. like where you sell them? what kind of vehicles they go on? if the customers are rotating them? Also the toyo mt is not the same tire from what my research has told me, it is however copied but the stt in tread pattern alone. If that's not true then how are they the same? They are made buy two totally separate companies in two different countries no where near eachother. Please give some more info.

Russ - word is that the Cooper STT are a little softer than the Toyos. I don't know how much that's going to affect treadwear, but I posted in another thread hoping that some STT users would chime in about their mileage and driving habits.

The coopers on my truck have 6k on them both highway and city driving. They look brand new and will go A LOT further than 20k. I had the Toyo Open country on my Dodge 3500 SRW in the 37x13.50x17 variety, with the Heavy Cummins and 7" of lift and they got over 45K on them when I sold the truck and they still had tons of tread left. So I am gunna call that guy's bluff and say that from my own personal experience he is lying.

Not my experiance, but with my own eyes, I've seen a few local vehicles here that were running the STT's before I bought them. Each vehicle had well over 20K on their sets and once again, they looked excellent and were wearing really well. Those vehicles were a FJ Cruiser, Chevy 2500, and a F350.

Jesse
