What I would do is just return those tires if you can and get something a little smaller if you can.

Wont need new wheel, wont need a leveling kit, and you will have that much more money in your pocket by going with a smaller tire. Not to mention you wont have any fitment issues.

I am in the process of trying this route right now. The Cooper tire rep for the dealer I went through said he would probably refund the money and I could get what I wanted... if the tires passed an inspection upon return to make sure they were never driven on or damaged in the "trying to mount them" phase.

Only problem is that the end result I have been looking for since I was a little boy was a "jacked up 4x4 with big ole mud tires" and there is a part of me that wants to do the leveling kit and wheels so that I get one step closer.. using the tire situation as an excuse to get more...

Thanks to everyone for all the leads on more reasonably priced parts...

and yes.. the coopers do have the side wall lugs...

I think if I was you I would use it as an excuss to make it a "jacked up 4x4 with big ole mud tires" You only live once.. why wait. These trucks look so much better with a leveling kit and that is cheap and very easy to do with hand tools. The wheels might be more of an expense BUT you could just trade your tires for the same thing in the 33 x 12.50. 18's. That would be your best bet.. dont keep it stock and buy gay little tires.. ford already did that and there is a reason we all try to fix that. Do it, you won't regret it, and it will not by any means break your bank.
