Is there a way to recalibrate the TPMS besides going to the dealer?
Or using a piece of tape to cover the light.

What exactly do you mean by "recalibrate". They are set to send a warning light if the tire drops below a certain psi. I don't think it's adjustable.

I read somewhere that the sensor needed to be reset to the new tire pressure. Is this not true?
I have a couple questions.
I'm looking at the BFG AT/KO in a 285/70/17, or possibly a 305 or 315, on Moto 957 (black) 17x9.
The backspacing is 4.53" and offset -12mm. Do you think there will be any rubbing issues?

If you change tire size you do not need to re-calibrate. The system is designed to alert you if pressure gets below a certain point, regardless of tire size. PM me if you are having issues and I'll have my TPMS guy look into it.

I have the sensors on my truck I am running after market tires and no problem, The sensor is just designed to let you know if the tire presure drops below factory recommendations.

I run my tires at 42PSI not a single hitch.

why are you running so much pressure?

I am running 33 inch tires compared to the stock 31 inch tires and I read the that most people running my size tire sets there presure at 42PSI
