***Programmer for Bigger Tires***

When i put 35 inch tires i know that my transmission will have trouble, and possibly bust in the future...But i hear that a programmer could solve my problem...is this true? what will a programmer do to keep my transmission from breaking? and what kind of programmer? Thanks?

A lot of people run 35's with stock gearing and have not had any problems. A programmer will only correct your speedometer/odometer and add a little hp.

People have been running 35" tires for years and years without any issues. What size engine do you have? I have the hypertech programmer but only used it for my speedometer. Just know that it only allows for tire correction up to 34", unless they have changed since I purchased mine about a year ago.

You shouldn't have any transmission issues, but never say never! I wouldn't worry about it..... Thrown them on and enjoy. You will notice the change in power though. You happen to know your gear ratio?
