Calipers Loaded or Umloaded-Whats the difference?

I need new front calipers for my 99 XLT. Whats the difference between loaded & unloaded?

Loaded calipers ship with brake-pads installed, unloaded come with no brake pads. Basically with a loaded caliper it drops right on, saving precious time in the install if you're a shop.
