I think that is now going to be what I am going to do. Not much other choice that fits that good. I like the bfg's just wish everyone wasn't riding on em..

Anyone have a picture of what this size looks like? It's not that much different than stock FX4 size so I'd be interested to see if it makes that much of a difference.

I agree with Wandell, the 305x65 is a nice size tire to go on the stock wheels.

If everyone has them the must be a good tire. I'd suggest, there are some cheaper AT tires that would work for you to save some money but if you can afford the BFG's buy them the cheaper tires wont last 1/2 as long anyway. You'd end up buying a 2 sets for the miles you'll get out one set of BFG TA KO's.

I've got 275/70/18 Toyo AT's on my leveled Fx4. Check my gallery for pics.

Not sure if they still make the old mud terrian, but if they dont I am sure you could find them for fairly cheap. They are the smallest spec size 35 that they make, My truck is 05 screw lariat 4x4 with the 2" AS and I had the 305" AT's I loved them but I was itching for 35's so I traded them in for the 35 inch mud terrians, and I experience zero rubbing, Click my camera icon I have pictures of both tires. I got almost 9 thousand on them and they look brand new still, and the ride is not bad at all. No irregular wear either.

I have looked and cannot find the old mud terrain in that size anywhere. What was your experience with the 305 at's? what is your experience with the mt's?
(how do they affect power, mpg, ride etc.) I am still torn between the toyo mt's and the bfg at's..

Just put on the 35's

I just put on the 35/12.5 on stock 18s and I'm rubbing at full wheel lock. They are the Toyo MT and a GREAT looking tire. You can feel the vibrations at about 4mph, but after that it's as smooth a ride as my stock tires (even the fiance` said that). Noise is not too bad for a MT though. On the highway you can definately hear the louder hum over stock tires, but then again they are Mud Terrains. I don't regret getting them at all, but am looking for a solution to them rubbing (can't afford the suspension lift just yet).

You will lose some power, but how noticeable it is depends on your driving style. Its not too bad, but it is noticeable. You can solve this problem with some 4.56 gears.

Powerloss

I'm not a big, get up and go fan so I haven't really noticed a lot of power loss. I have noticed better traction than my street tires I had on before (that could be because they were as bald as could be). I've always towed a little 5x10 trailer with bricks, pavers, and sand, and it still pulled just like it did before. Besides from the rubbing which I'll have to get used to, I love the tires and the leveling kit. I ALMOST have to use the step sides to get into the truck now.
