4wheelparts.com question...
..heres a dumb question, i dont even know if it goes here..but it is about rims and tires...anyways has anyone used 4wheelparts.com to buy rims and tires and etc with their "credit card" or making payments? is it worth it? just wondering cause i dont have all the cash up front to buy rims and tires at the same time and i have purrrfect credit.
I prefer to use a credit card when making large purchases online in case there is a problem. I feel better knowing that if there is a problem of some sort it will be me and a credit card company against the vendor vs. me on my own.
I just recently bought tire/wheel set from them and I got their CC from their site. It is through GE Online. GE Online is also the company behind ****s Sporting Goods card I had. they are pretty good to deal with and easy to give credit. I didnt have any problem using their customer service when I needed it either. 4wheelparts was pretty good to deal with as well. I was a little impatient with them because it was pushing into the holidays and I was anxious to get my stuf before I went out of town. I dealt with 1 guy the whole time (Lance) if ya need him. Tires/wheels came secured on a pallet, nicely wrapped, mounted and balanced, and they threw in a pretty nice set of lug nuts to go with the wheels. Hope this helps!!!

i bought a few things from 4wheelparts. at the start they had pretty good service, called the day after to confirm everything, but took like 5 weeks to get to my door. left me on hold for over an hour, didnt call back, but eventually it turned out good. im pretty sure i would go to the local store from now on, thats what i'll be doing.
goodluck!

Backspacing and offset are two different ways of measuring the same thing. Backspacing is just much easier to understand. It's the distance from the mounting surface of the wheel (where it bolts to the hub) to it's rear edge.

I would just save the last bit up myself, it doesnt matter if you have perfect credit, if your late on one payment they will jack the interest rate to 25-30%. I havent used credit in years, my parents with a 780 credit score just cancelled 2 cards (one from GE fin, the other discover) after exactly what I described above. They were surprised with a 900+ dollar heating oil bill and just barely passed 30 days (they NEVER were late before this). The credit / financial / banks etc. can take thier jacked up credit programs and stick it where the sun dont shine. I cant tell you how livid I am with these companies, disabled retires with P_E_R_F_E_C_T credit and they pull this crap.
