Wheel Spacer

I have gone back to my OEM wheels with 305/65/18 BFG tires. I now have minor rubbing issues. I also want to get them out from under the fender slightly. What type of problems would using a 1/4 inch wheel spacer cause. I know this is not much, but it would allow me to use this wheel and tire combo. without the rubbing and move the tire out from under the fender slightly. I like the looks of the stock wheel, but it is under the fender to much. Please advise of any problems this spacer might cause.

I've got 35/12.50/18's on stock rims with 1/4" wheel spacers and have had no issues. I think it makes it look better and it doesn't rub anymore. Go for it!

I used them on my old setup for about 15,000 miles and had no problems. I say go for it!

Try them and see. Some people have had vibration issues caused by wheel spacers.

A spacer should be your last choice. They may give you the look you want but they increase the chance of your wheel flying off. I am not saying it will absolutely happen but it does increase the chance. a smarter option if you are trying to save money is to pick up a set of used wheels with a lower offset. Better yet, buy some new wheels that fit correctly.
