Help with final decision on wheels/tires

I am planning on upgrading tires and wheels, and after a great deal of seaching (thanks, I’ve learned a lot) this is what I’ve come up with. The intent is to fill the wheelwells as best as possible. The truck is an 07 Supercrew w/ 6.5’ box, 5.4l motor, and 3.73ls diff. It has factory 18”chrome wheels w/ BFG Rugged Trails 275/65-18R. From a side view the tires look very undersized. The only mods are AirForce 1 intake, Borla Cat back exhaust, and Troyer tunes. I know at minimum a leveling kit will be needed, still researching that…AS 2” seems very popular, maybe a Rancho Quick Lift kit. The 4” Rancho lift kit may be to much, my garage has an 82” limit. And the truck is primary a daily driver with occasional offroad/towing. The wheels are:
1) American Racing Skar 20 x 8.5” w/ 30mm os (approx. 6”bs)
2) Moto Metal 951 20 x 9” w/ 30mm os (6.25” bs) or w/ 18mm os (5.75 bs)
3) Ultra Lightning 20 x 9” w/ 35mm os (6.375” bs) or 0mm os (5” bs)
The popular choice tire size is 305/55-20R, which is 33.2” x 12.0” tire on a 9.5” wheel. The inflated size ranges from 33.1” – 33.4” x 12.4”-12.6”. The factory tire is 31.9” x 10.8”. The 305/55-20R is definitely wider, but not much taller just over an inch. It doesn’t seem like this would fill the wheelwells, height wise. I like that width, would a 305/60-20R be a better choice? I did notice there aren’t many manufactures that make that size. Should I look into 35s?,(325/60-20R) If re gearing is required I will do that. The BFG website has a calculator and says for 35s re gearing to 4.06 (4.10 gears) brings it back to the 3.73 performance, many people have gone to 4.56, would that be to much?? Thanks for any help you can provide!!

The first AR wheel you listed is close to the oem 20 inch wheel's specs, so you may be able to fit a 35x12.50-20 using them and a 2 or 2.5 inch leveling kit. You probably won't have to regear unless you tow/haul a lot.

I agree with Wandell, also see how the programmer adjust's your tranny shift point's before you regear after going with the taller tires.
