Question about lifting my F150

I have an '05 F150 XLT 4x4 and I'm looking to raise it some. If I put a 3" body lift, what would the max size tires I could put on? Also, if I want to go to 315/70/18, will the 3" lift be enough. Thanks.

Have you looked into a leveling kit? I got one for my o5 fx4 . Sorry no photo's yet.:o

you can fit 315/70/18's with a 2"leveling kit. I think I'd go that route before I did a body lift....

Thanks for the advice guys. I think I'll try the 315's with the 2 " level. Cheaper than a lift !!

Who makes a 315/70-18 tire? That would be like a 36x12.50-18.
