Firestone Destination MT

First, I have an 05' FX4 Scab. I just bought a used set of 17" Lariat wheels that are alot like my current wheels, but 17". They are the stock Lariat 4X4 wheels. I don't see any reason why these wheels shouldn't fit right onto my truck, does anyone else?

Second, I am looking at buying a set of Firestone Destination MT 285/70/17's to go on them. The local Firestone dealer said $950.00 installed. Does anyone have these tires and how do they like them, dislike them. I have a 2.5" AS leveling kit on. Is this thing gonna look stupid with 33" mud tires on it?

Doug

THose wheels will work fine and your truck will look good with 33's.

They are a great tire.

I would shop around though. You will pay more going through the Firestone stores. If you have a Tires Plus local, check their prices. Tires plus is actually owned by Bridgestone/Firestone. Good luck and I think you will love those tires.

I found a tires plus about an hour from me and their price was a little cheaper than firestone. Thanks, I think I'm going to wait though until I can afford some 35" KM2's. I really like those, and they don't make the desitination MT any bigger than a 33.

Actually the cheapest place around here for destination tires was firestone it self.
