It currently has a 2.5 AS leveling kit and 315/70/17 on stock rims. Im going to be adding a 8"lift in the near future. I'd like to go with the largest tires That will fit under it. I am getting 4.88 yukons in the next few weeks.....

My question is, I cant decide if I want to go with a chrome or black rim. I want to stay with a 17"rim. This truck is no street queen so I need something durable.

Any suggestions???

 

 

Well it really comes down to if you like chrome or black better. My personal opinion is I like the black better, the black with chrome lip is my favorite and thats what i put on my truck. I think the fx4s look great with either.

 

black with chrome lip to me really only works with black or white trucks. I'd go with either all black or all chrome wheels, but not something really flashy. Go with either some black rockstars or some chrome Mickey Thompson classic locks (or something similar from procomp, eagle alloy, etc.). Definitely keep with the 17", the meatier the tires, the better imo.

So, I've been leaning towards black just due to the fact that I live just outside of Chicago and the chrome would get DESTROYED!!!!
American Racing has Teflon coated rims that I think are kind of sharp.....
What do you guys think of these???

 

I was thinking of having my nerf bars Line x'ed,getting a black bull bar, black 17"s, some 37" toyo's, and a 8" lift. Also, I was thinking of getting the Harley lights, smoked tails, and tinting the side windows the same as factory.......I just wish some one was good at photo shop that could put this all together......

With an 8" lift whats the biggest tire that will fit.......37", 38", 39"?????

i am not a huge black rims fan except for on grey trucks I think they look great!
