What can I fit?

I have a 97 F150 4x4.....currently running Goodyear Wrangler AT's at P255/70P16.

Need to install new tires....wondering what is the highest I can go with no rubbing....not looking to lift the truck, but will of course do the leveling kit. Can I fit 33's?

I have enjoyed my Goodyear's for 10 years now, but I am really liking the BFG AT's. Anyone have any words one way or the other? I obviously like the way they look and have heard some good things about mileage and such. Anyone else made the switch? Are BFG's known to give as smooth a ride as Goodyears or are they as bad as Michelins?

My BFG'S ride great! With a little cranking on the torsion bars to level your truck out a bit, 285's would fit fine. These are about a 33x11.50.

I agree. You can squeeze 315/75-16's (35x12.50) on there, but they are a little too wide for the OEM 16x7 wheels and there will be some minor rubbing on the frame at full steering lock. A 285/75-16 (33x11.50) or 295/75-16 (34x12.00) would be a better fit.
