hate to beat this dead horse....

I just bought a used set of 35X12.5X17 dunlop mud rover tires....I have a 2 wheel drive 2004 STX with the stock rim and tire set up with the 2.5" level kit on the front.....I am supposed to get these mounted on Wednsday but if they won't fit I won't bother...anybody have this setup, or know if they will even fit....thanks, again hate to beat a dead horse but I don't want to take thes in to get mounted and get laughed out the door.....

I'm afraid you will have trouble with that large of a tire on a 2wd, even with the 2.5" AS. But wait for Wandell, or one of the guys with a 2wd to say for sure... As far as I can tell all the guys running 35's on a 2wd have a lift of some sort, not just levelling kit.

I believe that you need a body lift on a 2wd to clear the 35's. The general rule of thumb for leveling kits is 33" for 2x4's and 35" for 4x4's

Looks like it may be time for a body lift, but let wandell chime in first

Yep, I'd add a body lift.

So went to a tire shop here in town and they said they would mount the tires on the rims but I would need probably a 2" spacer to make them fit without rubbing the control arms....what do yall think can this be done and if so know any good wheel spacer sites....
