Mickey Thompson Classic II

The Mickey Thompson Classic II wheels that I am considering are 17x9, 5.5 backspace, +12 offset. Does anyone have an opinion on how far beyond the OEM fenders these wheels will sit? Or perhaps a similar style wheel that will fit my 07 XLT better... Also - see any concerns running this wheel with Dueler Revo 285/70/R17's that I currently run?

rims would stick out 1.5'' further than the stock rims, they have the same bs but the MT's are 9'' wide and your stockers are 7.5" wide. Do you have a 4x4? I would guess you have a 4x4? Should fit okay, maybe a little trimming off the valence would be needed. You oughta throw on a leveling kit, then I don't believe you would have any issues.

Thanks guys! Yeah - 2007 XLT 4x4... Any thoughts on the polished finish vs. chrome? I am hoping that the polished will match the bumpers and OEM nerf bars better than chrome - not to mention the price difference between polished and full on chrome....

One other question - looking at ordering from Summit Racing - anyone have feedback on this company?

Both appear similar when new. However, polished aluminum requires regular polishing to keep shining.

Those 285/70R17s on 17x9 will fit fine. The 5.5" B.S. is not a problem either...

I have ordered a bunch of stuff from Summit in the past and you don't have to worry!! If something doesn't fit or you decide you don't want it anymore you can return it with no hassle. I would think you could find those Mickey's a little cheaper than through summit though. Summit does list stuff on ebay frequently too. Make sure you check the prices at 4wheelparts.
