Need Some Recommendations for Tires
My 02 F-150 scab 4x2 needs tires. After 55k I'm still running the original tires but they're toasted.
Mostly I'm driving fast on asphault hauling light to medium loads. I very rarely drive off road and it never snows here, so I don't need any fancy tread patterns. I only pull a trailer once or twice a year so I don't need high load ratings. What I really need is something that turns/brakes good in dry weather, inexpensive would be a plus.
What are some good brands and models to look at? Tire Rack has a huge list of stuff that will fit, but I have no idea what works well.
Also, Tire Rack lists 235 and 255 size tires. I think I have 235's now, the wider tread of a 255 would be nice but will it cause any problems?
