I have never had the Pirelli's on my truck, but my wife has them on her car and we like them a lot. But a lot of guys on here have said they don't like 'em on their trucks. Hopefully someone will chime in...
the pirellis are horrible...imho...i have 1 inch of snow on the road tonight and couldn't move in 2wd...and ive driven trucks before so its not like i cant drive or anything...but im ordering toyo mudders tonight...so hopefully they'll work better...but i woudl def swap those tires out...unless you want to be in 4hi all the time...
I was going to purchase some new car take-offs that I saw on Ebay but got scared off by too many posts here complaining about them getting flat spots from setting overnight in cold weather. Not that we get to many cold nights here in sunny south Florida. Any of you Florida boys having trouble?
They are poor quality tires. Do the math, 125 dollars for a 20 inch tire. My truck usually only gets driven at night and on the weekends. If they set for any amount of time, they ride like a flat spotted tire until they warm up. I am just trying to get a past paying for the new tags and the holidays.

I have the tires mentioned above. They came on my 07 Lariat. Plain and simple... They suck horribly in the snow and ice even tried putting 800 lbs in the back of the truck above the axle and it didn't help abit. I have had my first snow and ice experinces with them the past couple weeks with the first rounds of snow and ice here in MAssachusetts. What I did was buy a set of 18 take off wheels and tires from a local shop and put them on for the winter.
the rims are definately worth getting...but if you can get a good deal with them and no tires then buy new tires...b/c those tires as i mentioned b4 aren't very good at all....i have managed to drive thus far through the snow already but my toyos should be here tomorrow so these are coming off the truck soon thank God
there are a couple A/T that might be ok, but then you have to take into consideration your rims in the weather. I just moved to CT and just bought and still awaiting arrival on some Super Swamper TrXus M/T and Mickey T rims to take the place of my HP tires on 20" rims. So, I wouldnt recommend the setup for the winter weather. Have a summer set and winter set.
i had them for a week and took them off and sold them then went to 275/65/20 goodyear ats's on the factory 20's,had snow last week 4 inchs and it was fine. But now might be selling these tires and rims and going with something else.

I have these on my 06 f150 king ranch. Im not off road much and when Im off road its mostly fire roads towing dirtbikes.
We get a decent amount of snow and icey roads here in the Rockies. In these conditions the tires are fantastic. They are quiet and last twice as long as a Goodyear product. Here is a good link to results of a survey:

It all depends on what you'll be planning for the tire, but I'd say anyone that dislikes Pirelli, is clueless. Ive been running them all my life and find them to be a much better product in all ways to Goodyear, Firestone, etc.

I originally wanted 22's for my '07 Screw. I still think they look the best but after talking to several guys that made that change, and told me how rough the ride is compared to the 18's they had, I've changed my mind and are going with 20's.
So according to RC06, the lik sayd that these pirellis are great tires? I just bought some 20'' oem rims and also interested in finding the right tire. Im looking at the goodyear wranglers that come on the fx4...any opinions on these tires or others?
