Granite Alloy GA5

I'm new to the F150. Just about to pick up a 2005 Black Fx4. It comes with the 18" Ford Fx4 wheels and I was looking to upgrade to 20". Is anyone familiar with the Granite Alloy GA5 through Tirerack?

Will these specs work out without any suspension mods? I searched and could find the answer for these exact wheels. They are 20x9 with a 35mm offset. I believe I read the stock 20" wheels are 20x8.5 with 44mm offset? I will be getting the Pirelli Scorpion ATR's, 275/55/20. Any input/pictures would be appreciated. I searched and didn't come across any threads with this setup. Thanks in advance.

They should fit fine... I would stay away from the pirellis though... Do a search about them flat-spotting at night. They will get flatspots and cause the truck and steering wheel to shake until they warm up. I know this beacuse I had those tires for a day and then I took them straght back!! I would recommend cooper zeon ltz tires, BF Goodrich all-terrains, or toyo open country a/t!

I appreciate the quick response. So it sounds like I will stick with those wheels, however I will look into the other tires you recommended. Anyone else have input?

Put a Autospring leveling kit on it and go with some 33's!

Anyone by chance have picture of these wheels on their truck? I'm sure they would look great on a black Fx4, but I would love to see pictures before I purchase. The option to "view them on your vehicle" on TireRack doesn't do a justice. Thanks.

Bumping this thread for one questions...Could anyone by chance do a quick photoshop and put these wheels on the truck so I can get a general idea of how they will look? I would really appreciate it. Its not my truck, mine has 18's and the chrome step rails, but its close enough, as I dont have any pictures yet of mine.

Well I have changed my mind.

Instead of going with the GA5's and Pirelli tires...I am now going to order the MB V-Drive's (20") and Cooper Zeon LTZ's. Sound like a good setup to everyone? I like it a lot better than the first wheel and tire setup that I had in mind.

I shouldnt have to worry about any rubbing with a 275/60/20 tire, right? I tried to search and it wasnt returing any results. I do not have a leveling kit.

Thanks, I appreciate the quick response.

Any idea why the search doesnt come back with any results? I know there is "275/60/20" written somewhere in a thread. I tried typing it into the search as:
275/60/20
275-60-20
275 60 20
"275/60/20"

Nothing worked.
