Need Some Advice.

I have a '04 SCREW, love the truck but want bigger tires, to me the tires look small for the truck. My question is how large of a tire both width and height can I put on the 17" rims without running into any issues? I want some beefy wide tires.

Thanks.

This is a job for "TIRE MAN!"

Man, there are dozens of posts out here. Somewhere there has to be a pro with the chart that spells this out for 2WD vs. 4WD for each Ford stock rim size since '04 (R17, R18 and R20 at least).

Then, if the site moderator could sticky it, we'd all be able to focus on the really valuable part of this forum...

Like how I can convince the wife that I "have to" trade perfectly GOOD tires on my new screw for AWESOME ones!

If you will install a 2 or 2.5 inch leveling kit you can fit a 35x12.50 (315/70-17) if you have a 4x4 or a 33x12.50 (305/65-17) if you have a 4x2.

What about on a stock height 4x4 screw with the 17" rims?

I'd go with a 295/70-17 (34x12.00), 285/70-17 (33x11.50) or a 305/65-17 (33x12.50).
