offset on fx4 18's

What is the offset on the factory 04-07 18" fx4 wheels? I am looking at the mt classic wheels or 187 eagle alloy 17x9 and I want to make sure that the rims dont stick out at all. What backspacing do i need to prevent this? Thank You

The OEM 17 and 18 inch wheels are 7.5 inches wide with 5.5 inches of backspacing.

You would need a 17x8 with 5 1/2 inches of backspace and this would stick out only 1/2" more than stock. These wheels will keep your tires inside the wheelwells.

I'd like to find some 18" take-offs from 2004+ to try on my 2001 SCrew. It looks like the OEM 18's will have the same offset as my original 17's. Are the lug holes and bolt pattern also the same? Are the OEM 20's also the same offset and fit?

Thanks

Barry

The newer models are 6 lug. I believe your truck is a 5 lug.

Well, that will make it a bit difficult.
Thanks for the info.
