Not sure where to put this, but it is concerning tires so here we go. I'm trying to ship tires from LA to TN. Two quotes on 4 mounted tires and rims. DHL $554 FedEx Freight $250. That can't be the lowest price possible. Anyone with experience in shipping tires for cheaper?

 

when i bought my harley davidson 22's off of a guy on ebay... i paid 300 shipping... i figure if the wheels and tires are kinda heavy.... the fedex price would be close.

 

that 250 sounds like a decent price, if you know someone that works in a shipping dock/warehouse, try USF Holland. they were really cheap, when i got a quote for shipping an atv, but our company sends alot of stuff thru them and we get a nice discount. are the rims/tires too heavy to be sent ground? it sounds silly but did you try greyhound? i sent a snowmobile hood from wisconsin to ohio for 55 bucks, what a deal! or you could always send the rims and tires separate.
