2002 Navigator Chromes on a 97 F150?

Hate my stock 16x7 alloys and have a line on 17x7.5 Chrome Alloys from a 2002 Navigator. I don't know if the Navigators are hub centric or lug centric...can anyone help? If they're hub centric, they'll work as long as I use the 12mm stock lug nuts from my 97, right? Forgot to mention it's a SC 4x4...also how big can I go with tires on that rim?

THey are hubcentric. You just need to use lugnuts for your year model. The largest tire you can run is a 315/70-17 (35x12.50), however there will be some rubbing on the frame at full steering lock. Personally, I wouldn't go that large unless you lift the truck.

Thanks for the quick reply. How big can I go without a lift. Can't do the lift, garage door isn't tall enough...stupid house. By the way, what's your background...I've read the threads and you obviously know what you're talking about...tire/wheel industry?

You can run up to a 315/70-17 (35x12.50) tire on a stock 4x4 by using the OEM wheels. I'd stick with a 33 inch tire however.
As for me, I don't work in the tire industry. These numbers just stick in my head for some reason.
