2 wheel or 4 wheel ABS??


How can I tell if my truck has 2 or 4 wheel ABS?

If I remember correctly, in 98 there only was RABS, not 4 wheel ABS. That's all that mine had.

98 MY has 3 channel ABS
You should see a sensor and tone ring at both frt wheel hubs and a single sensor in the the center of the rear axle diff. The tone ring is inside the axle.

Both systems were available in 98s. You have to do the inspection. Just look for any electrical cable harness on the front spindles. No cable=RABS, with cable=4WABS.
