Bridgestone Potenza Car Tires??

Any of you guys running Potenza's on your car and love them??

I've got an '02 Lexus IS300 and gonna need tires soon. I've tried Dunlop SP9000 and Michelin Pilot Sports. I was much happier with the Dunlops but I'm a Bridgestone fan (motorcycles) so thought about giving them a try on the car. Now she aint no Porsche or anything, but it is a pretty dang great handling little car (not your typical family sedan) and it benefited greatly from the last tires capabilities. Don't want no all season tire neither. So I was wondering if you guys new which Potenza would be a direct competitor to the tires I've tried and if you've had any luck with them. Thanks guys.

P.S. please don't say "Potenza's" suck or my car came with "Potenza's" and they were OK....there's about 15 different Potenza's out there so let me know which one specifically. My initial guess is the RE050 is in line with what I want. The RE01R's may be overkill.

my mom has the potenza re040's on her 350z. they are a pretty grabby tire, road noise is less than favorable, i cant really tell you how they ride cuz 350z's have a terrible ride. if i were you id look at the toyo proxes tires, both my dad and brother have those and love them, but they are pretty loud.

Back in the days I had my 2002 IS300, I burned throught the OEM RE040, then upgraded to 225/45R17 Potenza S03's which was one of the bext summer tires at the time. If you want an all-season tire, the RE960AS is a great choice. More grip dry and wet than the ones you listed, more than double treadlife, and cheaper. Another good option is the Goodyear Eagle F1 AS, also cheaper than the two you listed and a bonus $50 VISA gift card.
