I am trying to learn.......

but I am getting very aggravated. I went to a website to look for new rotors. I thought it would be easy. What the heck? I see where my 11th digit of the vin is a "K" but how many mounting holes do I need? There are some with 5 some with 7. I mean I just want to order some rotors and I feel like I have to go to auto school to do it. Anyone feel my pain? Can any one tell me what I need. I have been on www.autopartswarehouse.com looking at the Raybestos rotors; heck I cant even find pads. Apparently I am stupid!!!

4x2 or 4x4, they are different.

Ok, so you need the one that has the bearing built in. A few thousand miles ago, I replaced my fronts with the Raybestos. Got them from a local parts store, about $145 each. They are heavier built than the OEM and have been fine so far. If you do the swap yourself, be sure and have the humongus deep socket. It is a 57 or 59 mm, can't remember which. They cost more than the 4x4 rotors as those do not have the bearing built in. I replaced mine due to a failed bearing.

I appreciate it bud! It looks like those have 7 mounting holes. I assume that is correct. Thanks again for your quick response.

If you mean 7 wheel lugs, no. That is unless you have the heavy duty setup. Most of the 2 wheel drives are 6 lug, but there is a heavy duty that has 7. Just look at a wheel and count the lugs.

there are 3 different rotors. 4x4, 4x2 six lug, 4x2 seven lug.
