Are 325/60/18's too wide to be practical??

I have a 07' 4x4 screw with 3.73's & 5.4 motor. I am wondering if if go to a Nitto 325/60/18 will I notice a big difference in acceleration / MPG? That is a lot of rubber on the ground and now it is more of a daily driver. Would I be better off with a 305/60 (32.5") or even a 285/65? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Getting ready to pull the trigger and can't decide. Help me!

PS: My other alternative would be to go to 20's with a 305/55 or 33x12.50.

thats what i have and it makes a difference in the acceleration but it doesnt make you gutless, thers still some get up and go. gas mileage didnt really go down too much for me but i drive super conservatively. i maybe lost half a mpg. but the 325's look great. i dont have any pics, sry.
