Determining wheel size?

Bought the truck used with aftermarket wheels. I'm trying to determine what size the wheels are so I can go tire shopping.

The existing tires are 305/70x16, so I know the wheels are 16". I'm trying to figure out the width. I'd like to go to 315/75x16 tires, but I don't know if they'll fit on these rims.

Thanks in advance!!

Well after cruising the site looking at other folk's trucks, I believe these are 16x8 wheels.

I don't reckon I can go much bigger than the existing 305/70s.

yeah those are definitely 16x8's and not 16x10's. Unless you have a body lift those are the biggest tires you can get under there.

after looking at your pics, it looks like you have a 3''bl. if so you can fit 35's quite easily......

Yeah, it's got a 3" BL, but can I get 35s on the existing rims or do I need to step up?

Thanks!

I know that some folks on this site have put 35's on factory rims and they are only 7.5" so I would say it can be done. You just have to have the right tire size and the right shop. I don't think you'll want a 35"x12.5 (though I can't say that's impossible).

Those look like my wheels, which are 16x10 Eagle Alloy 102's. But either way, 16x8's or 16x10's, you can fit 315/75-16's (35x12.50's) with them.
